A Typical Day in the Ionian

Every day brings a new island, new waters to explore, and new places to discover. While every itinerary is shaped by the weather and your preferences, most days follow a relaxed rhythm that combines sailing, swimming, discovery, and time ashore.

Morning in the Ionian

Most mornings begin in one of the Ionian's charming waterfront harbours, where guests can enjoy breakfast onboard while the village slowly comes to life around them. On occasion, the yacht may instead spend the night anchored in a nearby bay, offering an even greater sense of privacy and seclusion.

Take in the views, savour a morning coffee on deck, and prepare for another day of island hopping before we cast off and head towards our first stop.

First Swim Stop

The day usually begins with a short sail to a sheltered bay, perfect for a refreshing swim before the day's journey continues.

Whether you choose to swim, snorkel, paddleboard, or simply relax on deck, this first stop sets the pace for the day ahead.

Sailing Between Islands

From there, we continue towards the next island. Stretch out in one of the yacht's spacious lounging areas, enjoy the sea breeze, or simply watch the Ionian landscape unfold around you.

With relatively short distances between islands, there is always time to enjoy the journey without feeling rushed.

Lunch and Leisure

By midday, we arrive at another beautiful bay where we typically spend several hours.

This longer stop offers the perfect opportunity for lunch, swimming, paddleboarding, sunbathing, or simply enjoying the freedom of being surrounded by sea and nature.

Whether you prefer an active afternoon on the water or a quiet moment with a book and a view, the pace is entirely your own.

Arrival Ashore

After a full day of sailing, swimming, and enjoying the sea, we make our way towards the evening's destination.

Arriving in the late afternoon, there is plenty of time to settle in, stroll along the waterfront, browse local shops, or enjoy a drink before dinner.

Evenings are typically spent ashore, allowing guests to discover traditional tavernas, fresh local cuisine, and the unique character of each island.

Where the Day Ends

Most nights are spent in carefully selected harbours, offering the convenience of stepping directly ashore and the opportunity to experience the atmosphere of the Ionian's waterfront towns and villages.

Depending on your preferences, the weather, and the location, the yacht may occasionally spend the night at anchor in a nearby bay, combining the privacy of a secluded setting with easy access to shore by tender.

Whether overlooking a lively harbour or resting peacefully in a quiet anchorage, every evening brings a different perspective on life in the Ionian.
